Plans revealed for £5.5m Cramlington industrial development as Yorkshire firm seeks permissions
A Yorkshire property developer has revealed plans to create a £5.5m industrial development at a Cramlington brownfield site.
Priority Space, based in Barnsley, has announced plans to build 30 new industrial units on a four acre plot on the edge of Cramlington’s industrial estate.
The plans will deliver nearly 60,000 sq ft of speculative business units for use as industrial and warehousing workspace, available to buy or let by small and medium sized businesses.
The company is currently seeking approval for the scheme, which is set to get underway in 2022.
Lee Buchanan, director of Priority Space, said: “We look forward very much to investing in this scheme and bringing 30 new industrial units to this prime location in Cramlington.
“We are committed to developing high-quality and sustainable workplaces where companies can invest in their businesses and contribute to the economic regeneration of their local area. We’re very pleased to be adding Cramlington to our North East portfolio.
“We know there is demand for units of this size in the area and look forward to the development supporting SMEs’ ambitions and Cramlington’s economic growth.”
