Yorkshire estate agent expands regional footprint with launch of fourth branch

Family owned estate agents, Hardisty and Co, has acquired a new office in West Leeds adding to their growing portfolio.

Hardisty and Co is run by brothers Andrew and Ian Hardisty along with their wives, Tracey and Gemma.

Established in Horsforth as Waite & Co in 1992, Andrew took over the business in 2001 and has grown the company to employ a team of 53 across four branches covering the North, North-West and West of Leeds; the Wharfe Valley, Aireborough and Bradford.

Hardisty and Co’s management team has a combined knowledge of the property industry and the local area totalling over 50 years. Andrew and Ian have been working with their team for a smooth takeover of the Armley office and a successful transition for its clients.

Andrew Hardisty, director of Hardisty and Co, said; “This is a really exciting time for us as a business as we expand across Leeds. Our company has grown significantly over the past six years since re-branding to Hardisty and Co.

“The business has gone from strength to strength and with the incorporation of this fourth office, as well as expanding our residential sales, prestige, lettings, financial services, new homes and commercial divisions, we anticipate great things going forward.

“The past year has been really challenging for everyone and as a family and a business, we feel so privileged to be in a position to have been able to add our new office to the Hardisty network, creating exciting employment opportunities and also allowing us to support the local community in LS12 as we do within Horsforth, Guiseley and Otley branches.”

Ian Hardisty, director of Hardisty and Co, commented: “We offer a wide and varied selection of properties in highly sought-after suburbs of both Leeds and Bradford.

“We are fortunate to be able to offer properties from one end of the pricing scale to the other and we stick to a strict work ethic to ensure that we are a pro-active and forward-thinking agent guaranteeing optimum exposure to the market for all of our client’s properties and maximising the best possible prices for them.”

Ian added: “We are continually working hard to ensure our clients receive a tailored service to their individual needs to be sure that each property remains current and in line with current market conditions and factors.

“We have a fantastic team of staff who are industry qualified and trained to a high standard ensuring delivery of the very best in customer service.”

The Armley office will be headed up by former owner and office manager, Nichola Ashby along with senior valuer Jamie Gathercole, area lettings manager Daniel Andrews and their team of sales and lettings negotiators.
