Property boom continues to deliver for North East estate agent in new office opening
Hexham-headquartered youngsRPS has opened an office in Darlington following a 30 per cent growth in overall revenue.
Taking the property group to five offices, youngsRPS has expanded into Darlington as it sets its sights on the wider Teesside area. youngsRPS Darlington will provide a wide range of land and property services but mainly focus on residential and commercial sales and lettings.
Robbie Hutchinson, director of youngsRPS, said: “The pandemic has revolutionised the housing market with people choosing to move away from big, overcrowded cities to areas with more space and flexibility.
“When you add into the mix the recent HM Treasury news about relocating around 1,000 civil servant employees to Darlington and the huge regeneration the Teesside area is undergoing, it’s clear to see why the region is brimming with potential.
“Darlington also boasts a strong property market both residentially and commercially. While rural land and property advice is our heritage and a big part of what we do, we are heavily involved in a lot more town and urban work too.
“It’s a great move for us and provides the vehicle to further raise our profile in County Durham and into neighbouring Teesside too.”
youngsRPS also has offices in Dumfries, Alnwick, Newcastle, Sedgefield and Northallerton. The consultancy plans to further support the career development of local people over the next 12 months as more clients come on board as part of their commitment to create a hub where the next generation of property experts can learn and grow.
Hutchinson added: “Darlington represents a key milestone in our strategic growth plan to establish regional property centres across the North that provide both urban and rural property services covering everything from planning, surveying and development to residential and commercial sales and lettings.
“Buoyed by a strong property market, our focus in the next 18 months is to establish our Darlington office, and develop our growing workforce whilst continuing to widen our client base.
The team’s knowledge of the local area is second to none, and I have no doubt that our current and future clients will appreciate their passionate and dynamic approach to supporting clients.“
