Stockton gambling business set to create jobs following six-figure investment
A North East gaming and betting business has secured six-figure investment to continue its international expansion.
Stockton-based Affili8 Marketing has recorded a profit in its first year, as well as gaining £245k investment.
The company, which has gone from a team of three to eight since November 2020, plans to add five more staff before the end of 2021.
Directors Richard Paget, Chris O’Rourke and Chris Sutherland have all worked in digital marketing for more than ten years, and formed Affili8 Marketing to create an affiliate network to promote operators’ brands in igaming and gambling.
Chris O’Rourke commented: “Having worked in the industry for a number of years we had a lot of contacts, when we were established we were approached about offering additional services, such as digital marketing to casinos, sports betting and the growing esports market.
“This in turn this led to us developing our own software templates to deliver some of the projects as many clients sites are not very effective on search engines.
He continued: “In terms of the affiliate network we’ve built up 40 sites in 13 different countries and our consultancy work is helping clients operating online casinos in Canada, South Africa, Brazil, UK and New Zealand.
“It has been ‘win, win’ so far, despite the fact we are operating in a market dominated by multi-national big-name brands. We started to recruit in November and there are now eight of us, with plans to add five more before the end of the year.”
