London entertainment brand expands 'competitive socialising' concept to the US
A London based entertainment brand has announced it is opening its third location in the US.
Swingers Clubs brings the concept of competitive socialising by taking crazy golf and combining it with street food, cocktails bars, and live DJs under one roof.
The Washington D.C. opening is backed by Cain International, bringing $20m in funds to allow for further US growth with plans to open in New York locations.
Swingers currently operates clubs in London’s City and the West End.
Matt Grech-Smith, CEO and co-founder commented: “As if the pandemic hadn’t made running a hospitality business challenging enough, we were also pressing ahead with the opening of our first US location.
“Our team have done an incredible job overcoming travel bans, labour shortages and all the other issues created by Covid to deliver a truly stunning venue. We’re sold out for opening weekend and we can’t wait to share Swingers with the people of D.C. and show them some post-pandemic fun times!”
Swingers D.C. is inspired by English country golf clubs of the 1920s and features a clubhouse, a patio, four cocktail bars and some of Washington D.C.’s popular street food vendors.
The new venue will also feature immersive, multi-sensory elements providing guests with a theatrical and high-end entertainment experience.
