E-bikes company aims to create "cleaner, greener" world with London launch

A company championing sustainable transport has announced that it is launching a fleet of green electric bikes in London this summer.

HumanForest, which trialled e-bikes in the capital last year, will be launching the new bikes in August.

The company predicts that the e-bikes will prevent the release of almost four tonnes of CO2 into London’s air each day.

The bikes are built using technology such as long-range, swappable batteries and initiatives to improve battery life and reduce waste.

HumanForest was due to launch in the spring, but the impact of Covid-19 on global supply chains and shipping has delayed the scheme until early August.
