Building consultancy relocates to facilitate expansion
Midlands building services consultancy, Stewarts, is facilitating its ongoing growth with a move to a new headquarters.
The move comes six months after the company was acquired by Leeds-based building consultancy, C80 Group, and demonstrates the Group’s commitment to growing the businesses it acquires. Stewarts has been recruiting new staff in 2021 to increase its service capacity, requiring a relocation to a larger office in Solihull, where its expanding team of specialists will continue to provide high quality engineering solutions for the built environment.
Simon Delicate, Managing Director of Stewarts, said:
“The move to new offices coincides with all-new branding for Stewarts, marking the start of a new phase in our growth strategy. Joining forces with C80 Group has helped to accelerate the development of Stewarts’ business. Our specialist engineering expertise is complemented by other consultancy services in C80 Group, including Building Regulations and environmental performance, energy assessment, BREEAM, air tightness, sound testing, environmental noise and thermal modelling. This multi-disciplinary capability allows us to collaborate on projects and deliver a broader range of solutions for each client, often with a focus on low carbon design and renewable technologies.”
Following a strong performance in the first half of 2021, Stewarts believes that its new base and wider team of specialists will help the company to achieve similar success in the years ahead.
Simon Delicate said:
“So far this year, we have secured various major contracts, including extensive projects at schools, universities and leisure venues. Numerous UK universities and NHS organisations have used Stewarts for building services design and management. Construction in healthcare and education will continue to form the core of our business, but we are also targeting impact in other markets through consultancy on a wide range of residential and commercial schemes, delivered in partnership with C80 Group’s other two companies, C80 Solutions and YDBC Ltd.”
