Newcastle digital agency aims for record results as team and revenues swell
A North East digital marketing agency is aiming to achieve “record results” after growing its team by more than 50 per cent.
Evolved Search, based in Newcastle, has announced that it is on track to grow its annual headcount by 56 per cent compared to last year.
The company is currently recruiting for eleven new roles, and will have created 20 by the end of the year.
It also saw an “impressive” increase in revenue, with year on year growth of 45 per cent.
It said that due to the rise in demand and growth of the team, it expects to achieve record results over the next year.
Ian McIntosh, managing director, commented: “The team have worked incredibly hard over the last year and I’m delighted to see all our teams growing in line with the ambitious goals we set out in 2019.
“The pandemic put a lot of strain on businesses across the UK, so we’re proud and humbled to be in the position we’re in right now, with growth both from a financial and people perspective.
“Like most agencies, we took a hit at the start of the pandemic but we were determined to make sure we fully supported all our clients through this period, which has certainly helped build further trust in the relationships we have.
“This led to several of our key accounts increasing investment and the number of services they receive from us. We’ve also retained 100 per cent of our client base, which is testament to the approach and great work from the team.”
Tom Etherington, operations director, added: “We’ve welcomed more brilliant people to the agency this past year and are still on the lookout.
“Once we’ve filled these current vacancies, I expect we’ll be the largest independent agency in Newcastle for our specialism, which has always been our first aim.
“It sets us up really well going into next year and we’re confident that we can achieve more record results over the next 12 months.”
