Nottingham home improvements company unveils new showroom in Basford
Basford-based home improvements firm, Stormclad, has opened its third showroom at its head office premises on Basford Road in Nottingham.
Showcasing a wide range of products including windows and doors to evidence Stormclad’s wide range of services, the Basford showroom will be the first in Nottingham to display Solidor products that are easily accessible to prospective customers.
A variety of UPVC, timber and aluminium windows will be on display at Basford Road in a range of different styles, including flush sash windows with the much-improved Graf Weld joint, sliding sash windows and casement windows.
There will also be a selection of orangeries and roof extensions, as well as doors to view such as origin bi-fold doors, aluminium front doors, Solidor composite front doors and the newly launched OS77 sliding patio doors.
Prospective customers will be able to browse through the showroom at their leisure in a relaxed environment and will have the opportunity to touch and feel the quality of the products.
Customers will also be able to easily compare handles, locks, colours, materials and finishes whilst the team at Stormclad ensure all tastes and budgets are accounted for. Designers will be at customers’ disposable to answer any queries and to help guide them through the process.
The showroom interiors have been designed and fitted by Butler and Willow and all products on display have been built and installed by Stormclad.
With over twenty years of experience in the home improvement industry, Stormclad have helped thousands of customers transform their homes, bringing them security, energy efficiency, style, and low maintenance.
Stormclad’s Wheatcroft Notcutts Garden Centre showroom in Edwalton and Brookfields Garden Centre showroom in Mapperley primarily exhibit the company’s wide range of conservatories and extensions.
John Evans, director at Stormclad, said: “Perusing through one of our brochures doesn’t quite do our products justice and it makes such a difference when our customers can come in and get a real feel for what we have on offer.
“We’re very excited to open a showroom dedicated to windows and doors because we believe this has been an important aspect missing from our customer offering. We want to stress, however, that there will be plenty of other products to see too, such as tiled roof extensions and orangeries, and we will be constantly adapting the showroom to reflect changes in the market.
“We cannot wait to help customers make important decisions about what they can do to upgrade their homes. After spending so long cooped up dreaming of what could be, we expect to be very busy.”
The Basford showroom is open 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday. Stormclad will be offering a 10% discount on all orders made during the first month of opening.
No appointments are required to visit the showroom, however customers who wish to look around privately are encouraged to pre-book a time convenient for them. The showroom is closed Saturday to Sunday but there is the option for customers to book weekend appointments if required.
Hand sanitiser, wipes and face masks are available at the door and the NHS app is available to scan on arrival.
