NG completes deal for 7,000 sq ft Nottingham office disposal
Commercial property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors have completed an off-market office deal in Nottingham.
Acting on behalf of Marlock Property Company, Richard Brown of NG Chartered Surveyors has sold Units 3.1, 3.2 & 3.3 Clarendon Park to Affinity (Nottingham).
The three office buildings, situated close to the Forest Recreation Ground off Sherwood Rise and totalling around 7,000 sq ft, had been owned by Marlock for over 30 years, at which point the company felt it was time for a change of investment direction.
Affinity, which occupies Unit 3.1, expressed a strong interest in purchasing both their unit and the adjoining pair, as part of their continued growth and expansion of office services.
Richard said: “A combination of Unit 3.2 coming vacant at Christmas and the tenant of Unit 3.3 suffering substantial trading difficulties due to COVID, resulted in us being able to offer Affinity vacant possession on those two units, which will enable them to proceed their expansion plans unhindered. It was a pleasure dealing with Sham throughout the process, and I wish him all the best with his future plans”.
Affinity Director Shamraiz Younas said: “We’re delighted to have completed the Clarendon Park deal. It means we’ll have added more than 20,000 sq ft of office space to our portfolio in lockdown alone – with plenty of other deals in the pipeline.”
He added that the group’s major acquisition drive since the start of the pandemic was largely to anticipate the changing demands for office space.
