Fresh look for fleet completes new chapter for chemical company
An independent chemical business has finalised its transformation into a group of companies with a £40,000 overhaul of its fleet of vehicles, reflecting its rebranding.
North Yorkshire-based Airedale Chemical has been steadily acquiring businesses since 2015 and is now known as the Airedale Group. It incorporates Airedale Solutions which provides small pack chemical fulfilment; food and beverage ingredient distributors, Rigest; metal surface treatment specialists, Alutech; and Airedale Chemical which is one of the leading chemical companies in the UK.
The new look for all 20 of the independently-owned vehicles is the final step in the latest chapter in the company’s 48 year history.
Daniel Fox, operations director of Airedale Chemical, comments: “There have been a lot of exciting changes at Airedale Chemical over the last few years and to see our fleet, which is seen on roads across the country every day making around 32,000 deliveries a year, is really satisfying and all our drivers feel a great sense of pride driving these lorries on behalf of the company.
“As we own our own low-emission fleet we can maintain total control and flexibility in delivery of our products as soon as they’re needed which, in some instances, is the next day. So our tankers are an essential element in the success of the business and very much the customer-facing front of Airedale Chemical. Therefore, it was important to us that they reflect the Airedale family of businesses.”
The fleet rebranding continues a strong start to 2021 and a positive bounce-back from the challenges of 2020 which has already seen an increase in sale and demand across the company’s customer base.
Airedale Chemical has been based in Cross Hills since 1994 and provides chemicals and contract manufacturing to markets including agriculture, dairy, water treatment and waste management.
