Leeds vintage retailer debuts in London with new flagship store
A boutique vintage retailer has announced that it has launched its debut flagship store in London.
COW Vintage, headquartered in Leeds, is opening the new flagship store at Shorts Gardens in Seven Dials after agreeing a lease with London property specialist Shaftesbury.
The company, which stocks vintage items sourced from around the world, alongside recycled designer pieces and hand-crafted reworked garments,has stores in Leeds, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, and Nottingham, as well as an online store.
Samantha Bain-Mollison, retail director at Shaftesbury, commented: “Sustainable values are becoming an increasingly significant part of a consumers’ criteria and our own, therefore it has become a fundamental part of Seven Dials’ leasing strategy.
“While sustainability is becoming a saturated concept across the industry, we ensure we are seeking out brands and retailers like COW Vintage, whose ethics are authentic and substantiated.
“It is fantastic to be the home of the first COW store in London, which is already drawing so many visitors for its vibrant vintage offering.”
Nigel Coughlan, founder of COW Vintage, added: “Opening in London has been a long-awaited step for COW Vintage, and Seven Dials’ unique atmosphere and sense of community provides the perfect environment for our first presence in the capital.
