Surge in anxiety in the workforce reported as Freedom Day approaches
As Freedom Day looms, an unprecedented surge in calls has been reported by on-line therapy service MindSpace247, as the UK’s workforce grapple with a return to “normality”.
The Prime Minister signalled a ‘big bang’ end to lockdown on July 19th saying it was ‘now or never’ for a return to normality. Managing Director of MindSpace247, Guy Outram said: “we must avoid a decline in workforce mental health and the subsequent likely increased strain on the economy. Business owners should talk to us now to ensure their staff have quick access to the best possible support. If left this can only escalate to long term issues for staff and businesses alike.”
MindSpace247 was founded by Scottish businessman Barney Battles, who created business networking investment consortium The League of Angels.
