Yorkshire logistics site acquired by billion dollar global investment firm
A Yorkshire based logistics site has been acquired by a billion dollar global asset management firm as part of its investor portfolio.
Nimbus Park, near Doncaster, was bought by CBRE Global Investors, on behalf of a separate account client from Sladen Estates and AIG.
The modern site comprises two brand-new distribution units totalling 270,875 sq ft.
The park sits on a 15.8-acre site and houses tenants including Tile Giant and The Mosaic Tile Company.
The buildings have a BREEAM rating of ‘Very Good’ and offer both cycle storage and electric car charging spaces.
CBRE’s spokesperson commented: “This was a rare opportunity to acquire a brand-new logistics asset, built to a modern specification and with excellent ESG credentials, in an area that offers an increasingly compelling investment rationale.
“As more occupiers look to capitalize on the changing market dynamics that have been accelerated by the pandemic, it is expected that rental demand will continue and consistent returns will be delivered.”
CBRE Global Investors was advised by CBRE, while Sladen Estates and AIG were advised by Commercial Property Partners.
