"Significant move" for Yorkshire printing company with Wakefield warehouse acquisition

A Yorkshire printing company has announced that it is expanding into larger premises near Wakefield.

Hague Group has acquired a 37,000 sq ft warehouse in Normanton, in a “significant move” for the company.

The warehouse, called Premier House, is close to Junction 31 of the M62 and was sold in a private deal brokered by Knight Frank.

The site, which doubles the company’s current capacity, will undergo renovations over the next few months.

Iain McPhail, partner and head of Knight Frank’s industrial property team in Leeds, commented: “This superb 37,000 sq ft modern high-bay warehouse will facilitate Hague Group’s exciting new expansion plans and is situated just around the corner from their present premises on the Normanton Industrial Estate, so is ideal for staff.

“The building is set to undergo significant renovation during the next few months to create the perfect workplace for the future of the business.

“Hague Group had been searching for the right premises to relocate to for some time and with freehold stock hard to come by and highly competitive, we were delighted to identify and acquire Premier House on behalf of our client.”
