Football-based venue shoots into top corner of London arena
A London arena has announced the debut of a new football-based entertainment and social venue.
TOCA Social officially opened its doors at The O2 on Thursday 12 August, just in time for the new Premier League season’s kick off.
Founded by former Fulham, Leeds, and US Men’s National team winger Eddie Lewis, TOCA Social offers interactive football-based games in 17 playing spaces, with guests able to order food and drink to personal booths for up to 12 people.
Alex Harman, president of TOCA Social, said: “We are extremely excited for TOCA Social to be opening its first location in an iconic venue such as The O2.”
He continued: “This space has provided us with everything we need to kickstart TOCA Social’s journey and enable us to welcome people of all ages to enjoy unique and immersive football games alongside world class food and drink.”
Alistair Wood, executive vice president of real estate and development at AEG Europe, said: “Welcoming TOCA Social for its debut location at The O2 really highlights the diverse and dynamic space that our Entertainment District has to offer new and upcoming brands.”
He continued: “With TOCA Social’s impressive technology and stand-out menus, we are confident that this will be a highly popular day-and-night out destination, which further compliments the O2 and Icon Outlet’s offering.”
He finished by saying: “The brand’s opening marks a real turning point in the industry as a whole, especially now the UK is fully able to enjoy social experiences in person again.”
