Forbes Solicitors Helps Team Sukata Preston Make The Right Move
Forbes Solicitors has helped fast-growing martial arts club Team Sukata agree a seven-year lease for new premises in Preston.
The lease sees the club, which specialises in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to help adults and children improve physical health and mental wellbeing, building on the success of its existing Chorley-based Alley Cat Academy Gym and expanding its presence in Lancashire.
Based at 130 Church Street, Preston, the new studio will enable Team Sukata Preston to drive continued growth by meeting demand from new and existing members for more classes, while also building partnerships with local charities.
Robert Jackson, head coach at Team Sukata Preston, said: “The new 1,600 sq ft studio space enables us to run classes every weekday evening and on weekends, and introduce new innovative sessions such as family classes. We also have the ability to host much bigger groups, which is perfectly suited to linking-up with local charities and social enterprises and introducing them to the physical and mental health benefits of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
“We worked with Forbes Solicitors as they took the time to fully understand what we need from a commercial property lease and studio space. Their client engagement is excellent, and they’ve helped us take a huge step forward in realising the growth potential and popularity of Team Sukata Preston.”
Jo Higham, a solicitor in the commercial property team at Forbes Solicitors, added: “The lease agreement is perfectly suited to satisfying current demand for Team Sukata Preston’s services, while also providing plenty of opportunity to accommodate and drive future growth.
“It’s fantastic to be involved in a deal that can help scale-up the delivery of a martial arts discipline that can help people of such a wide-range of ages and abilities.”
