IoD Kent appoints ambassador to drive director development
The Institute of Directors (IoD) has boosted its Kent team with the appointment of Stephen Osei-Mensah as an ambassador.
Stephen will be the branch’s Chartered Director ambassador. He is a Chartered Director and Fellow of the IoD.
The Chartered Director is a prestigious qualification awarded to directors by the IoD under its Royal Charter.
Stephen has more than 33 years of business leadership and consulting experience. He is an independent consulting partner and non-executive director on the boards of Mission Aviation Fellowship International and Langham Partnership UK.
In September 2020 he was appointed Work Forum Director at the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity.
IoD ambassadors drive greater connectivity with members, support learning and development and give a local voice to the Institute, while ensuring that IoD national policy reflects local issues.
Nigel Earnshaw, branch chair of IoD Kent, said: “Stephen is a great asset to our established team of ambassadors who cover a broad spectrum of industries relevant to our membership. He will champion the Chartered Director programme to directors and encourage them to enjoy the benefits of this world-renowned qualification.”
