Plant-based restaurant grows with launch of second London site
A London plant-based eatery has announced that it is launching its second site before the end of the month.
KOJO, first launched in December this year, is opening up a new KOJO TO GO site in London’s Liverpool Street.
The site, on Devonshire Square, is the first of several planned locations for KOJO, with this also being the first in the company’s ‘TO GO’ brand.
Alina Gromova-Jones, co-founder of the company, commented: “KOJO is born out of a passion for nutrition. Creating a menu that can do good for ourselves as well as our planet, that places us at the centre of a growing community which is prioritising the health of the environment in order to protect our own health and wellbeing.”
“It’s a simple belief based on the premise that you get out what you put in.
“After all, it’s no coincidence that the best way to look after our own health is to look after the health of the planet.”
“Eating a plant-based diet is one of the most powerful ways to re-connect with nature and to return to our instinctive way of caring for the planet. If we care for nature, nature will care for us. That is what we firmly believe.
“KOJO is more than just an eatery, it’s a movement. The KOJO Kolture is the universal expression of that movement.
“From the art on the walls, down to the beats they play, their approach is a bit different and designed for the ‘koltured’ consumer who is equally concerned about the environment as they are the food and experience.”
