Performance marketing agency Journey Further has appointed James Addlestone as chief strategy officer

James will join the executive team and lead strategy for the Leeds, London and Manchester agency, working closely with CEO Robin Skidmore and managing director Matt Kwiecinski to deliver on the business’s global growth plans.

James began his career in strategy consulting and data science at Deloitte, before moving to a number of agency groups including Interpublic and Omnicom. He departs his role as head of decision science at RAPP to join Journey Further.

James commented: “I’m absolutely delighted to be joining the Journey Further team. Nicola White, Andrew Jackson

Law firm Andrew Jackson has appointed Nicola White as an associate.

With over a decade’s experience in the sector, Nicola brings knowledge in contested probate cases, particularly in disputed wills and inheritance act claims, to her new role.

Nicola will support the specialist practice of partner Peter Duffus, who regularly advises clients on disputes arising out of estates, ranging from challenges to the validity of a will to disputes between trustees and executors.

Kuljit Kaur, Hentons

Chartered accountancy and business advisory firm has appointed Kuljit Kaur as learnin and development manager.

Kuljit joins Hentons from a FTSE 250 listed financial lending firm, and has more than 15 years’ experience working in training, learning, development and leadership.

Sharon Oldfield, Vida Healthcare

Vida Healthcare has appointed Sharon Oldfield as home manager of its Vida Court facility.

Sharon will bring eight years of administrative and management experience to the role. Originally hired as an administrator at Vida Healthcare, Sharon has since carried out roles including general Manager and trainee registered manager.

As home manager at Vida Court, Sharon will be responsible for the continued safety and security of residents and staff, maintenance of services, and journey to join Vida Healthcare’s two other care homes, Vida Hall and Vida Grange, as a CQC Outstanding rated facility.

Sharon commented: “I took a leap of faith and joined the pioneering team at Vida in 2013. Eight years later I continue to be so proud of the innovative, caring and passionate team I’m a part of which strives to deliver the highest level of care to our residents.

“I’m immensely privileged to have been appointed as the Registered Manager at Vida Court and am looking forward to challenging myself in this new role. I will strive to emulate the achievements of the outstanding CQC rated, caring, innovative, and award-winning staff teams at Vida Hall and Vida Grange.”

Grishma Bijukumar, City Hearts

Trafficking and crime free futures charity City Hearts has appointed Grishma Bijukumar as equality, diversity and inclusion lead.

Grishma brings knowledge in the area of equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) from her former work in human resources for a consulting group, prior to which she was vice president of welfare and community for Lancaster University Student Union and member of the EDI committee.

Grishma commented: “I am very excited to join City Hearts’ journey towards integrating EDI in all aspects of the organisation. I was attracted to the role because here, people are truly at the heart of the organisation.

“I have already had a few fantastic months. We have some very exciting initiatives coming up, including launching our City Hearts EDI Strategy in Spring 2022 and work has also continued in improving our practices and policies.

“We have also become Stonewall Diversity Champions and will be applying for the Workplace Equality Index next Autumn. This work with Stonewall will be immensely beneficial for both our staff and clients in the promotion and implementation of LGBTQ+ inclusivity.”

Martin Voisey, Harrison Bathrooms

Bathroom specialist Harrison Bathrooms has appointed Martin Voisey as retail sales director.

Martin joins the team with 28 years’ experience in the bathroom industry, having previously worked for firms including Triton Showers, Heritage Bathrooms, Jaquar and Vado. . As part of his new role, Martin’s main objective is to use his specialist knowledge and industry experience to take Harrison Bathrooms’ Scudo range to the next level by growing current contracts, as well as identifying and securing new dealers, in order to build on the awareness of the Scudo brand nationwide.

Martin commented: “Having the opportunity to help drive forward the Scudo brand in the UK, as well as playing a part in the overall growth of Harrison Bathrooms, is a really exciting prospect.
