Leeds recruitment firm secures £9m funding for post-pandemic recovery

A Leeds recruitment firm has announced that it has secured a £9m funding package as it aims to boost its recovery from the pandemic.

Caval Limited has received the funds from Natwest as it plans to introduce more hybrid working roles, apprenticeships and coaching opportunities.

The company’s recovery plans also include providing temporary and permanent placements to the recovering construction industry, as well as revamping its internal systems and introducing wellbeing initiatives for all staff.

Jane Wardell, associate finance director at Caval Limited, commented: “It’s fantastic to have secured the funds from NatWest, which will allow us to push forward with our impressive growth plans and continue supporting many of the 1.7 million people currently working as contractors in the UK.

“It’s no secret that the last 18 months have been extremely challenging for businesses and contractors alike, but the UK’s self-employed workforce will be instrumental in rebuilding the country’s economy.

“With the backing of NatWest, we’re confident we can continue to flourish in an increasingly important marketplace.

“As a company, we also continually seek to improve our internal systems, processes and operations to ensure clients and workers experience excellent services at all times. This funding package will go a long way to helping us achieve our goals.”
