London investor secures pop culture merchandiser for Yorkshire industrial park
A London investment company has announced that it has signed a pop culture merchandiser to move into its Yorkshire unit.
CBRE Global Investors has announced that Sheffield merchandiser GB Eye Ltd has taken a lease on its 77,906 sq ft industrial unit at Enterprise 36 industrial park.
The lease has been secured just a month after CBRE acquired the speculatively developed unit from Wilton Developments.
GB Eye Ltd will be expanding into the new premises to support its growth plan following its recent consolidation into the European Abysse Corp Group.
Danielle Raunjak, of CBRE’s Leeds Industrial Agency team, commented: “It is a fantastic result to have secured a deal with GB eye at Unit 2, Enterprise 36, particularly with an established, growing Sheffield business.
“The deal demonstrates the high demand for Grade A, well located units along the M1 corridor and this is further compounded by the severe supply constraints.”
Steven Birks, managing director at GB eye, said: “The team at GB eye are delighted to have completed the lease on Unit 2, Enterprise 36.
“This warehouse gives the platform we need to expand our pick and pack capabilities and aid our growth in the UK.
“Abysse have big investment plans in the UK, and this unit was an ideal fit as far as size and location. With the addition of these premises, we will be expanding the GB eye team across this site and our existing site in Sheffield to enable this growth.”
