Yorkshire employment lawyer secures national award
Lupton Fawcett employment partner Andy Gilchrist has been named UK Employment Lawyer of the Year at the Finance Monthly Legal Awards 2021.
The global awards recognise the achievements of law firms and legal professionals who have consistently provided solutions and sound legal advice for the corporate sector over the past 12 months.
Andy, who heads the multi award-winning employment team at Lupton Fawcett, advises employers and employees on the full range of employment and HR related matters, including discrimination issues, litigation, corporate restructures, executive terminations, redundancies and appeals to the Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT).
Andy said: “I am delighted to be named UK Employment Lawyer of the Year 2021, particularly as it was in part based on client feedback. I would like to share the award with my colleagues in the employment team, as it could not have been achieved without their support, hard work and commitment.”
Lupton Fawcett boasts one of Yorkshire’s largest and most respected employment law teams. The team offers expertise in dealing with businesses, individuals, charities and other organisations, providing comprehensive and tailored legal advice and strategies.
The employment team’s skill and success has been consistently recognised, having received 5 awards in the past 6 years, including Yorkshire Employment Team of the Year (Yorkshire Legal Awards), and UK Regional Employment Team of the Year (The Legal 500).
