Belgian B2B firm to create 100 jobs with £11m expansion into UK
A European B2B scale-up has announced that it is creating 100 jobs as it raises €11m to expand into the UK.
Sortlist, headquartered in Brussels, has raised €11m in its biggest investment round to date, totalling 57 per cent more than expected.
The funding will allow the company to launch in England and to hire around 100 people, aiming for a global team of 200 within the next 2-3 years.
Thibaut Vanderhofstadt, CEO of Sortlist, commented: “We raised 5 times more than the last fundraiser. We even had to refuse new entrants so as not to be too dispersed.
“What is important is to ensure that the people who invest correspond to our values and share our vision. This is not a purely financial aspect. “
Robin Rampear, head of product at Sortlist, said: “The perfect mix of AI and human touch with consistent feedback from our clients will secure a transparent and exhaustive platform.
“The promise to the client is to have direct contact with someone who knows the market and the agencies. We want to eliminate some of the actual friction within the relationship and instead build trust.”
