Fleetsolve appoints new MD to lead the firm’s ambitious growth
Pioneering renewable bioenergy specialists Fleetsolve has appointed Roger Pearson as its new managing director to drive the company into its next phase of growth.
Over the course of the pandemic, Fleetsolve has continued to grow successfully by renewing several major customer contracts, winning new customers and signing major international OEM partnerships. The next phase of growth includes the development of new energy services which are designed to provide customers with low-carbon, affordable and resilient heat and power.
Pearson will lead on a number of these developments including the imminent launch of Fleetsolve’s e-commerce platform for the Original Engine Manufacturer (OEM) parts business. This is the first of its kind in the UK and follows on from the earlier announcement of their MAN Rollo strategic OEM partnership.
Fleetsolve specialises in the design, manufacture, installation, fuelling and maintenance of biofuel combined heat and power (CHP) systems under a Power Purchase Agreement or traditional equipment. They also maintain and service similar units that run on natural gas and bio-gas.
With 10 years’ experience in the renewable heating and power market, Pearson brings with him a strong track record of leading significant business growth. Prior to joining Fleetsolve, he was the managing director of AMP Clean Energy’s biomass fuel business, where he led the growth of the business from a 500k turnover to £30m over that period.
Keith O’Connor CEO of Fleetsolve says: “As a recognised industry expert and leader, Roger’s appointment further boosts our executive team and will be instrumental in helping us to achieve our ambitious growth plans.
“Roger is joining us at an exciting time with several major projects in the pipeline over the coming months. His experience in building an operational structure that supports customer experience and growth, makes him the perfect fit to propel Fleetsolve forward and to help our clients further toward achieving their energy ambitions and zero-carbon goals.”
Pearson, who joins the company this month, says: “I’m thrilled to take on the mantle of managing director. Being entrusted to lead the continued growth of Fleetsolve and its people is an exciting opportunity. With the company’s collective skillset and obvious commitment to customer experience, I’m looking forward to contributing further to Fleetsolve’s future success.”
Pearson’s appointment comes as Fleetsolve strengthens their senior management team with the appointment of Damian Shevloff to the newly created position of Chief Development Officer and Mark Lamont has been appointed to the newly created position of Technical Services Director.
