New Partnerships as Events Industry Bursts Back into Life

After 18 months of downtime the events industry has finally burst back to life as companies across all sectors are witnessing an explosion of exhibition activity.

Dramatically increased exhibitor participation brings about the huge demand for specialist logistics operators capable of transporting products and equipment to venues around the world in time for the exhibition start dates and strict customer deadlines.

International exhibition logistics firm, Europa Showfreight, a dedicated division of leading logistics provider Europa Worldwide Group, has been chosen as an official partner of Human Built, Prysm Group and AV Buyer.

Based at Europa’s facility in Minworth, Europa Showfreight works on behalf of organisers, trade associations and service contractors to deliver bespoke logistical packages to their exhibitors at events around the globe. Regardless of the event’s location, Europa has its own Road, Air and Sea divisions as well as an extensive network of IELA partners to design the perfect package to meet the customers’ requirements.

The Showfreight division are experts in planning for specific requirements, door-to-stand shipping to any worldwide venue, handling materials onto the exhibition stand space, onsite representation, specialist charter, customs clearance and full on-site MHE services including off-site storage.

Human Built, an all-services event and exhibition agency that provides every service an exhibitor needs from lighting and catering to stand building, design and logistics, picked Europa Showfreight because of its reputation for high levels of customer service and excellence. Showfreight has partnered with Human Built to deliver logistics for its entire event portfolio including shows such as EMEX 2021 and AM Live 2021, both to be held at Excel, in London, in November.

Exhibition Organiser, Prysm Group has appointed Europa Showfreight as the sole official logistics contractor for a number of their events to provide worldwide transportation solutions, temporary and permanent imports, unloading and reloading, onsite handling and empty case storage. Upcoming events include Farm Business Innovation and Holiday Park both taking place at the NEC, in Birmingham in November 2021. Europa Showfreight will also be the official logistics provider for the White Label World Expo at Excel, in London in March 2022.

AV Buyer, which offers the largest range of aircraft for sale around the world, has selected Europa Showfreight as its Official partner to deliver bespoke logistics packages at the 2022 editions of AEROEXPO AND ROTORTECH at Cotswold Airport next June.

Paul Brady, Operations Manager at Europa Showfreight, says the past few weeks have been the busiest since before pandemic. He is thrilled to have agreed three partnerships in just a matter of weeks.

Paul said: “Seeing events come back to life over the last few months has been truly uplifting. It’s been an extremely tough time for our industry but things are certainly looking up. At Europa Showfreight, we have been working tirelessly behind the scenes during the pandemic to make sure we are ready to hit the ground running when given the green light. We are enormously excited to have agreed new relationships with organisers, suppliers and partners and are absolutely loving the increased demand for exhibition logistics.

“Add to this a recent recruitment drive to strengthen our growing Europa Showfreight team and things are really starting to develop for us. We can’t wait to see what the next 12 months brings.”

Europa Worldwide Group is a specialist road, air & sea, warehouse and showfreight operator employing more than 1,100 people across its sites in the UK, as well as Hong Kong, Belgium, with representation in 100 countries
