Northumberland IT company expands workforce by 25% despite "battling against" Covid-19
A two-year-old Northumberland IT firm expands its staff by a quarter despite the challenges of Covid-19.
Cramlington-based TruStack has increased its staff from 43 to 55 with six posts set to be filled in the next few months.
The company has also stated that its customer base has swelled to 450 and has generated a £10m turnover.
Throughout the pandemic TruStack has aimed to help companies implement hybrid working to allow employees to work outside the office.
Phil Cambers, commercial director of TruStack, said: “Flexibility has been one of the key elements to our success, no doubt about it.
“If we keep doing what we have been doing for the past two years – adapting to the changing world around us and keeping a step ahead in terms of technology – I am sure we can continue to expand even more.”
Phil continued: “When Covid-19 hit we adapted the way we needed to work, and made sure our clients were able to adapt as well.
“Ultimately our success is down to our incredible staff - their response to all the changes we have seen in working practices over the past year, like working from home, has been absolutely incredible.”
