National charity takes unit on Coventry industrial estate
Another deal has been agreed on a unit on a popular industrial estate in Coventry. Holt Commercial, acting for Coventry City Council, has let the 3,519 sq ft industrial property on Fullwood Close on the Aldermans Green Industrial Estate to City & Guilds.
It’s the fourth deal that Holt Commercial has achieved on the secure and well-managed estate recently while a further property is under offer. Another 5,715 sq ft unit which has been fully refurbished has just been launched to the market in the area.
Chris Hobday, Associate at Holt Commercial, said: “This is an excellent deal for our client in securing a renowned national charity as the new tenant for the estate.
“It is another example of the strength of the industrial market in the region and where we have well-located, well-presented properties there is strong interest and deals are being concluded swiftly.
“We are now looking forward to marketing a further unit in this location and anticipate positive interest in that property too.”
Councillor Jim O’Boyle, cabinet member for jobs, regeneration and climate change said: “I’m really pleased that we have been able to let another unit at our industrial estate at Aldermans Green. It shows the market is still strong even after the pressures of the last 18 months.
“The site has been well managed and this includes the recent refurbishment of the now available Unit 4. Each unit is now well set up, enabling a business to walk in and trade straight away. I wish the charity well in their new location.” Lambert Smith Hampton represented City & Guilds in the deal.
