West Yorkshire tutoring firm to bridge Covid-19 education gaps

A West Yorkshire tutoring company has been selected by the National Tutoring Programme to bridge regional educational gaps caused by Covid-19.

Tutor Doctor Beeston Park will supply support for pupils in secondary schools across West and South Yorkshire whose educational learning has been most affected over the past 18 months.

70 per cent of the cost will be subsidised by the government.

The tuition will take place in mostly small groups of up to three pupils and will be delivered either face-to-face or online subject to the requirements of the schools and their students.

Neeta Rai, owner of Tutor Doctor Beeston Park said: “I’m hugely proud that our tutoring business is able to support teachers in the incredible work they are doing during these challenging times.

“I’m really looking forward to helping bridge the gap for those children who have felt the brunt of the impact through school closures.

“Every child matters and can be successful so I can’t wait to start working with our local schools and their pupils across Bradford, Doncaster, Wakefield, Sheffield and Leeds to help them achieve their goals.”
