Treble for Trust with recognition in three national awards
A Garforth-based business, which specialises in electric heating solutions, has the champagne on ice with news of major recognition for the firm.
In the last fortnight, Trust Electric Heating has been named Best Domestic Electrical Heating Solutions Provider 2021 in the inaugural British Made Awards.
It has also been announced as one of the SmallBiz100, run by Small Business Saturday and has made the shortlist in two categories in Entrepreneurs Circle’s National Entrepreneur Awards, which take place in early October.
It has been an incredibly busy year for the Elmfield Business Park-based business. Earlier this summer they secured a second major funding boost from Innovate UK to continue the development and launch of their “CAVE” remote digital thermostat and they have recently been accepted onto the University of Huddersfield managed Manufacturing Champions Programme.
The programme, which launched in September 2020 and runs until March 2023, is funded by the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership and European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and is aimed at manufacturing companies identified as having high growth potential.
Trust Electric’s Managing Director Fiona Conor comments;
We all know what a challenge the last two years have been for small businesses. So to receive recognition for what we’re trying to do with our vision for smarter electric heating for everyone, especially those most vulnerable or less tech savvy, is a real boost to the team.
We have very ambitious plans as a local employer and as a beacon of innovation and trust in the heating market and awards like these just reinforce what we’re trying to do and might even bring them forwards that much more swiftly.
