360 Accountants launch Purple Sofa Podcast
It’s perhaps not what you’d expect from a bunch of boring accountants, but Hull and East Yorkshire-based 360 Chartered Accountants are far from the norm – and are extremely proud to launch their latest venture, the Purple Sofa Podcast.
It’s all about celebrating Hull as a great place to live, work and visit - with a bit of business and tax news thrown in. There’s an array of topics covered in the very first episode from grassroots sports, culture and blindfolds to the Kraken and Hull’s music scene.
Andy Steele, Director of 360, who co-hosts the Purple Sofa podcast with colleague Sean Maloney, said:
“We wanted to have a podcast to talk about everything that’s great about Hull – because there’s a lot we can be proud of. And where better to place it than our famous purple sofa, found in our reception area, which has seated the great and the good over the years. It’s all a bit tongue-in-cheek (once we’ve quickly updated you on the latest business and tax news) because we wanted it to be a fun listen for everyone.
Co-host Sean Maloney added:
“Being huge sports fans, we also talk about our new charity the 360 Foundation which has been set up to support young people in Hull access grassroots sports and why it’s so important. And we’re highlighting some of the great local businesses around.”
