Centrick opens the door to new property asset management instruction
Renowned national property specialist, Centrick, has secured a new Southampton-based Estate Management instruction. With a total of 133 residential units falling under its management - of which 79 units are retained - this latest appointment sees Centrick further expand its Building & Estate management portfolio within the region following a suite of recent successes.
Built by BYM Capital - which specialises in high specification building conversions across the UK - Overbridge Square is an exciting mix of contemporary one and two-bed apartments over five blocks and is located within Newbury, Southampton.
Ideally situated alongside the Kennet and Avon Canal, the semi-rural development boasts excellent transport links for commuters and locals alike, as well as convenient access to a host of the region’s most sought-after retail, leisure and hospitality destinations.
Commenting on the new instruction, Centrick’s chairman, James Ackrill said:
“We’re really pleased to be working alongside BYM Capital on another of their schemes. Our experienced Asset Management and Building & Estate Management teams are committed to providing exceptional service to deliver effortless and consistent results and are set to provide Overbridge Square with our signature expertise over the coming weeks and months.
Southampton continues to be a key area for development for the business, and we’re looking forward to growing and establishing our presence further during 2021 and beyond.“
Centrick’s appointment is set to provide the new development - which consists of a blend of office to residential conversions - with expert tenancy and block management services. What’s more, this new instruction follows on from the recent opening of its first Southampton-based office earlier this year, as well as the expansion of its national portfolio across the South East region.
Speaking about Centrick’s appointment, Lucinda Lee-Bapty, Chief Operating Officer at BYM Capital, added:
“We’re thrilled to be working in partnership with Centrick on this new development in Newbury and are already seeing the benefits of working with an approachable and highly experienced team who are very knowledgeable about the management of complex residential sites.”

Ensuring its experienced teams deliver exceptional service, the residential property experts are ARLA and ARMA accredited and committed to its membership of key industry bodies, thereby establishing themselves as trusted advisors concerning new laws and regulations to building and fire safety – ensuring its management projects can run smoothly and prioritise the clients’ needs.
