Expansion for Sheffield Digital Marketing Agency
Foster & Scott take on additional office space to accommodate growing team
Digital marketing agency Foster & Scott has doubled its office footprint in Sheffield following its expansion during lockdown with new recruits and clients.
Founded in 2011 by Carl Foster and Gareth Scott, the business has maintained consistent growth over the years to meet the needs of its national and international client base which spans the leisure and tourism, manufacturing, logistics and public sectors.
However, with more companies expanding their online presence as a result of the pandemic Foster & Scott is now embarking on a recruitment drive for roles in its sales, design and development teams in order to meet growing demand.
Earlier this year the business also welcomed Paula and Beth to the team, bringing its total headcount up to six.
To accommodate the growing team the full-service creative agency, which specialises in branding, websites and digital marketing, has also secured larger premises within the Business Centre at the prestigious Sheffield Business Park which has been its base over the past 10 years.
Foster & Scott co-founder, Carl, says the business is committed to maintaining its office presence which is an ‘essential’ ingredient in ensuring the team can share creative ideas and how they approach client briefs.
He said: “It has been an extremely busy 18 months for the business, as existing and new customers look to increase or maximise their digital presence in response to a surge in online activity as a result of the pandemic.
“While some of our clients were impacted by the restrictions, many others saw demand for their services or products boom and so we have been flat out creating and delivering on creative campaigns across a wide range of sectors.
“As a result, we have already welcomed a new member of staff to the team, and we are looking to further recruit over the coming months.”
Carl added that while Foster & Scott adapted to home working in line with government guidance, We find that being together is an essential for creative projects and so it has always been important for us to have an office in a location that is easily accessible, with great public transport links and great local amenities.
“Sheffield Business Park is perfect for that, and we are delighted that we have been able to secure an additional space within the Business Centre that can also accommodate us as we continue to grow our team.”
Sheffield Business Park is already home to more than 2000 workers, as well as the UK’s first state-of-the-art manufacturing facility Factory 2050 and the Boeing Factory.
The 18 acre Phase 4 site, fronting Sheffield Parkway has now been disposed of to the joint venture development companies Premcor and Peveril Securities. The Catalyst Scheme offers potential design and build opportunities from 22,354 to 108,845 sq. ft have bought the 18 acre Phase 4 site fronting Sheffield Parkway.
Catalyst forms part of the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District (AMID), a world leading, research-led Advanced Manufacturing cluster along the Rotherham-Sheffield corridor.
Commenting on Foster & Scott’s success Sheffield Business Park manager Dawn Kennedy-Burns, said: “Foster & Scott has been a long-standing occupier of the Sheffield Business Park’s Business Centre, and it has been fantastic to watch the company grow both its team and its client base in recent years.
“As a creative agency we know that it is important for the business to have a physical office space where staff can collaborate on projects and work together to deliver on the needs of its impressive customer portfolio – including a number of fellow business park tenants.
“We’re delighted that Carl and Gareth have benefited from the true sense of community that has developed amongst the businesses based at the business park and that they have decided to commit to the location for the foreseeable.”
