Leeds-based building consultancy business, C80 Group Ltd, has launched a recruitment drive to support its UK-wide expansion.
The company is creating various new positions to strengthen its Group-wide operations team and its specialist teams at all three building consultancies within the Group: Midlands-based Stewarts and two Yorkshire-based firms, C80 Solutions and YDBC Building Control. The variety of roles includes HR and internal recruitment, business development and a wide range of construction specialisms including energy and BREEAM assessment, air testing, sound testing, building compliance and mechanical & electrical engineering.
Katherine Naisbitt, Commercial Director at C80 Group, said:
“C80 Group has enjoyed substantial growth over the past two years, and we have been steadily taking on new staff throughout that time, but we are looking to take our expansion to the next level in 2022 and our recruitment activity has intensified in preparation. The group has a combined revenue of £3.5m and we are looking to increase revenue to over £20m over the next few years via organic growth and acquisitions. Attracting new talent has always been a cornerstone of our success and it will be a vital strategy in the next few months.”
Mark Heptonstall, CEO at C80 Group, said:
“Expanding the teams within our collective of SMEs will increase our capacity to offer a full suite of services. Clients receive the Group benefits of security, knowledge, UK-wide coverage and availability of staff, but they also have the advantages that SMEs can offer - flexibility, quick decision making, entrepreneurial thinking and modern methods of working.”
C80 Group is well established across a wide range of sectors, including residential, commercial, healthcare, hospitality and education. The Group companies work with clients whose projects include new build, renovation and refurbishment projects of all types and sizes, from hospitals and schools to theatres, offices and apartment complexes.
