Key IVR Launches Cryptocurrency Payment Service
Key IVR is excited to announce it’s cryptocurrency payment service, allowing businesses of all sizes to accept Bitcoin and other digital currency over the web, email, SMS or over the phone.
As major cryptocurrency exchanges report an increase of users by 70% year over year, and major commercial brands continue to embrace virtual currencies, the new service reinforces Key IVR’s commitment to embrace new market opportunities and emerging trends.
By integrating with all major cryptocurrency gateways, exchanges, businesses can work closely with Key IVR to design, build, and deploy a service that will accept payments from Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Bitcoin cash and many more. Funds can either be stored in a crypto wallet, or exchanged into fiat currency (e.g. Pound Sterling, US Dollar, Euro) straight into a bank account.
It will accompany Key IVR’s existing PCI-DSS Level 1 card payment services and recent Direct Debit offering, providing yet another option for end-users to pay for goods and services.
Powered by a sophisticated in-house developed platform, the new service is able to accompany the existing online, text message, WhatsApp and telephony features. The platform is checked independently on an annual basis by QSAs, and passes strict data security and payment industry guidelines. A reassuring fact that will help address fears that some businesses face when looking at entering the occasionally turbulent cryptocurrency industry.
Darren Wooding, Managing Director of Key IVR said:
“We wanted to make it easy for organisations to embrace cryptocurrency, and with more and more businesses across the world already accepting digital currencies, it’s a great time to get started. It’s a real opportunity to expand your customer base and offering Bitcoin, or many others, as a payment option to your customers.
For us, the key has been to provide the option to quickly convert the digital currency straight to a local currency in a bank account. By automating this, it allows the new channel to sit nicely alongside existing business operations.
We’re looking forward to seeing how we can develop the service going forward, as digital currency evolves and gains momentum across the world.“
