Mobile solutions company acquires Newcastle communications firm
A mobile solutions provider has announced the acquisition of Newcastle’s Digital Communications Systems LTD (DCS) as part of its national growth.
DCS has been providing managed networked services since 1992.
Bringing together a portfolio of partners and services, the acquisition will further develop Babble’s presence in the North-East of England.
Brendan Mulvenna, managing director of DCS, said: “I’m thrilled with the position that DCS has reached since forming in 1992. The acquisition by Babble is an exciting next step for the business and I look forward to playing my part in Babble’s ambitious plans to be a leading player in the North-East.”
Babble now has over 4,000 customers with 25,000 UCaaS, 34,000 mobile and 4,000 CCaaS users, as well as an expanding Cyber, IT and MSP customer base.
The business has offices across the UK – with more than 200 staff located nationwide.
The firm supports organisations across a range of sectors by sourcing, deploying and supporting cloud solutions to deliver increased efficiency, customer engagement and profitability, whilst protecting customers’ businesses.
