The UK’s First Corporate Fertility Membership Community Launches with Live Broadcast Access
The UK’s first IVF membership community has launched in the UK, offering corporate members exclusive access to the country’s top industry specialists through interactive broadcast events.
The IVF Network, a new digital platform aimed at patients undergoing IVF, is offering a complete corporate benefit solution for fertility, with live and interactive studio access, exclusive online content, and an inclusive patient-led community.
The bespoke platform is the first to offer studio-based live broadcasts and pre-recorded events, for a yearly fee, to ensure both male and female employees feel supported and included in the IVF community. Members are able to interact with carefully selected specialists on all issues relevant to their treatment pathways and engage with like-minded individuals going through similar hardships.
A team of experts will also be on hand to support HR departments and line managers with fertility workshops, internal communications and workplace-based fertility campaigns that better manage the needs of employees undergoing fertility treatment. Corporate members will also have the potential for a branded company interface and tailored packages that can be dialled up and down depending on employee requirements.
The IVF Network is the passion project of Founder and businesswoman, Charlotte Gentry, who underwent six ‘exhausting’ and ‘expensive’ years of IVF while trying to fall pregnant with her first child.
To help make sure others don’t experience the pitfalls she personally went through, Charlotte is determined to support HR professionals by catering to the needs of employees undergoing fertility treatment. The IVF Network will provide a safe haven where users can share wisdom and advice, build strong friendships and receive all the information they require when making decisions during their fertility journey.
Charlotte Gentry, Founder of The IVF Network, said:
Currently there is little to recourse medical, practical and emotional support for employees undergoing IVF. The majority of workplace protection policies exclude ‘elective’ medical processes, putting fertility treatment on a par with cosmetic surgery. Yet having a flexible workplace that supports employee mental and physical wellness is critical because the emotional, financial and physical strain of the IVF journey can affect productivity, morale and performance.
“That is why I was so determined to create a social community that would support those undergoing fertility treatment by delivering live events with the top UK specialists to gain their knowledge and experience. Having a community where employees can share ups and downs with those who really understand is also invaluable, because fertility can be a very challenging experience that needs to be managed effectively by employers.”
