Flexible workspace operator opens office in historic London location

Today Clockwise announces the opening of its second London location in Bromley, which is set for spring 2022.

Consisting of a range of spaces including; dedicated offices, private desks, a podcast room, and member’s lounge with café and terrace; the new site is Clockwise’s largest to date spanning over 73,000 sq ft. The flexible workspace will also be complemented by a casual dining restaurant and boutique hotel with 24 rooms, set to open later the same year.

Originally built in 1907 a further construction was added in 1939 which represents the development of Bromley since the early 20th Century. The part-listed building has been vacant for a number of years and was added to the Heritage at Risk register in 2009.

Clockwise has also opened new sites this year in Leeds, Wood Green, Manchester and Exeter, with planned openings in Bristol and Southampton, along with an expansion into mainland Europe via Brussels and Bremen.

Alexandra Brunner, chief operating officer at Clockwise, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be opening our second London home in Bromley to complement our existing North London offering.

“A central part of the London community since the 19th century, the new Clockwise space will not just be a place to work but we hope will also become a hub for the community with a range of vibrant spaces which blend commerce, culture and connection, with amenities including restaurant and boutique hotel.”

“While businesses have learned that teams can work well from home, at Clockwise we are firm believers that a central space is key to fostering collaboration, boosting productivity, and supporting the health and wellbeing of employees.

“That is why the opening of our second London site is such a key milestone for Clockwise, providing a more local hub for Londoners to work effectively.”
