Clarity Informatics Launch Partner Programme to Bring Trusted & Valuable Solutions to Primary Care Sector
The leading healthcare technology provider, Clarity Informatics, has launched its new Partner Programme which will connect their users to the best technology available in primary care, saving practices time and money.
The launch of this new partnership programme is part of Clarity’s long-term vision to help the primary care sector find reliable, trusted technology that will save them time, money, and ease the pressure on staff and practices.
Clarity announced the first of these partners, Medi2Data, at the recent Best Practice event in Birmingham. Medi2Data provides free-to-use software with unlimited usage, helping GP practices process third-party medical reports, which cost hundreds of pounds per week in admin time.
The software, eMR, manages Subject Access Requests (SARs), insurer requests, and other third-party medical reports by redacting sensitive patient data within 15 minutes, instead of the 2.5 hours it would normally take a receptionist or practice manager.
On average, GP practices will receive three SARS and four insurance requests a week, costing general practice an estimated £85 million a year. Medi2Data was chosen as Clarity’s first partner to help drive down costs, save time, and reduce the burden on practices to complete these requests.
Clarity’s Managing Director, Tim Sewart said: “We’re delighted to be launching our new partner programme and helping to deliver trusted and reliable technology to the primary care sector and the NHS, something that can be hard to come by.
“Working with Medi2Data as our first partner is a natural fit, as we know one of the biggest headaches for practice managers is processing third party medical reports – and redacting sensitive data is time consuming and expensive. We hope that by partnering with Medi2Data, we can help GP practices around the country save precious time and money.”
Richard Freeman, Founder and CEO of Medi2Data said: “We’re excited to be working with Clarity Informatics and be the first firm to be picked for their new partner programme to help practices across the country to have easier access to our technology. “We’re passionate about helping GP practices save time, money, and ease the pressure on them, whilst remaining GDPR Compliant - that’s why our technology is completely free to use, and any associated costs don’t fall on the GP Practices so they can focus on the things that matter.”
Clarity is an industry-leading provider of ‘back office’ technology for running GP practices. Clarity’s appraisal software is used by over 80% of all GPs in England to complete their annual appraisal; its knowledge, compliance, and sharing platform (TeamNet) is used by over 60% of GP practices in England; and every month nearly 50% of the NHS’s clinical workforce use Clarity’s NICE accredited diagnosis and treatment guidance Clinical Knowledge Summaries (CKS).
