London borough set for new shared ownership homes

Notting Hill Genesis is bringing new homes to Mill Hill, NW7, this month with the launch of one- and two-bedroom apartments at Twenty Millbrook Park.

Launching on Saturday 20th November, these new apartments will be available to buy through Shared Ownership and will be offered initially to those living or working in the London Borough of Barnet. The homes will then be available to buyers across wider London from early next year.

Through shared ownership, buyers can purchase a percentage share of the property which can be increased over time and pay rent on the remaining share, meaning they can own a property in one of London’s most desirable districts for a fraction of the price they would be required to pay if they were to purchase outright.

20 homes are available, with one-bedroom apartments starting from £105,250 for a 25 per cent share and a deposit of £10,525 based on that share, and £138,500 for a 25 per cent share of a two-bedroom property with a deposit of £13,850.

Twenty Millbrook Park offers a number of on-site amenities, including secure underground car-parking, concierge services, and landscaped podium complete with picnic benches and tables.

The contemporary apartments also come fully equipped with integrated kitchen appliances, including a Zanussi oven, hob and fridge-freezer, fitted modular design Paula Rosa kitchen units, as well built-in bedroom wardrobes, and Hansgrohe bathroom fittings. The homes also feature fully decked, private balconies, allowing residents to take in the tranquil surroundings.
