118 new Howden homes sold within two years

A housing developer has sold all of its homes in its Imperial Gardens site in Howden following a reported “surge in sales” within two years.

Located on the outskirts of Howden, but within walking distance of market town’s historic centre, Bellway’s Imperial Gardens 118 new homes feature a mix of two, three, four and five bedroom properties.

Emma Fitton-Cook, Bellway Yorkshire’s sales manager, said: “The residential property market is booming…”

“We’ve found that ever since the first lockdown last year that developments in rural or semi-rural locations with good links to larger towns and cities are proving incredibly popular, especially among younger families looking for a quieter place to call home. As well as its success in Howden, Bellway has seen strong sales across the East Riding in recent months, with its developments in Anlaby, Pocklington, South Cave and Swanland all selling quickly.
