"Supermarket giants” embrace eco-friendly deodorant brand with retail debut
London based sustainable and natural deodorant brand Wild has secured partnerships with some of the UK’s leading supermarkets, retailers and department stores.
With changing mindsets and conscious buying, Wild is the perfect partner for retailers looking to offer their customers innovative brands with unique and authentic sustainability commitments.
Wild’s retail expansion journey has moved at an impressive pace, securing a new partnership with supermarket giants, Sainsburys, Wild products are now available online and in 285 Sainsburys stores, as part of the supermarket’s ‘future brands’ initiative.
The initiative supports start-ups that specialise in sustainability and sees the supermarket partnering with “distinctive brands to provide customers with innovation and a unique shopping experience”.
Wild is also trialling its products in 30 Waitrose stores, reaching a growing audience across the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
Wild founder Freddy Ward comments: “The last six months have been a whirlwind and it’s been incredible to see Wild available on the shelves of more and more retailers.
“It’s our ambition to make it as easy as possible for customers to switch to natural and sustainable products and allowing customers to pick up Wild with their weekly shop helps us achieve this.”
Wild is also available in 19 Boots stores throughout the UK with a further store roll-out planned in the new year. Wild features in the retailers’ sustainable toiletries section, making it easier for shoppers to find the eco-friendly products and help them reduce their use of single-use plastics.
Continuing with Wild’s growth, department store Selfridges is another high profile partnership for the brand, with Wild’s eco-friendly products meeting the sustainable requirements to feature within the store’s Project Earth strategy.
