New win sees BGN get into bed with Slumberdown
Following a competitive pitch, BGN - brand-led design and digital agency - has been appointed by Slumberdown to design and build a new brand-led website. The project will see the BGN team deliver digital strategy, design, animation and WordPress development.
Slumberdown is one of the UK’s leading filled bedding manufacturers and is part of the John Cotton Group which is a family-owned and run business that was established in 1916 and is based in West Yorkshire. The Group is renowned for developing innovative fibre solutions and has established itself as pioneers in technology that is used in its range of pillows, duvets, protectors and toppers.
BGN’s focus will be on creating a new site that has more synergy with the marketing comms creative which was devised by McCann Leeds. The new site, which will be launched in Q1 2022, will also demonstrate Slumberdown’s expertise on all things sleep related and will be a platform that engages as well as educates the nation on how to get a better night’s sleep.
This is the latest FMCG brand-led site that BGN has delivered. Other recent projects include launches for Onken and Rustlers. The agency recently relocated its operations from NEO to One Express in Ancoats. The agency’s new office is four times the size of its previous base in order to accommodate its growing team.
Antonio Giansante, managing director and founder of BGN, said: “Slumberdown is a leading and much-loved name in the filled bedding sector, so we are delighted to have been appointed by them. Our aim is to now create a new brand-led site that reflects what the brand stands for, what it offers and to communicate its constant crusade to deliver a better night’s sleep for every body.”
Anjna Mistry, senior marketing manager at Slumberdown, said: “BGN really understood the category and consumer challenges and what we want to achieve on the brand from the get-go. We are really excited to see the site come to life as we build up to its launch early next year.”
The pitch process was run by the intermediary GO!.
