gunnercooke completes on sale of 13 venues for Barworks
This week challenger law firm gunnercooke has completed on its work with client Barworks, on the sale of 13 iconic pubs and bars to Urban.
The transaction includes sites across East and North London including the Exmouth Arms (Exmouth Market), Singer Tavern (Moorgate) and Harrild & Sons (Farringdon).
Barworks is an independent pub, bar and restaurant group based in London and founded in 1998. TLT advised Urban Pubs & Bars.
The deal was led by David Salamons, Corporate and Hospitality Partner at gunnercooke, who has acted for the Barworks group since its inception and works collaboratively with partners across the firm’s broad practice areas. The gunnercooke team included Harriet Collins and Shabab Ahmed on the Corporate side, Catherine Payne and Paul Sprague on Property, Paul Ryman on Employment and Julian Moran on Tax.
