The team at Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors are getting into the festive spirit by teaming up with Woodlands Hospice to supports its annual ‘Light Up a Life’ campaign. As part of its pledge to support local charities as it celebrates its bicentennial, the award-winning solicitors has sponsored several Christmas Trees for visitors, patients and staff to enjoy this season at the charity’s Aintree headquarters. Managing Partner at Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors Mike Leeman said: “Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors are delighted to donate to the Woodlands Hospice annual Light Up a Life campaign in 2021. Christmas means different things to different people and sadly it can be a difficult time for those who are poorly or caring for someone going through difficulties with their health. “Some of our colleagues have seen first-hand the wonderful things that Woodlands Hospice do and the incredible services it offers. By providing Christmas trees, we hope those staying, visiting or working at the hospice can take a moment to celebrate through the campaign.” Bell Lamb & Joynson, which operates from locations in Liverpool, Warrington and Runcorn, with services covering the entirety of England and Wales, will see its workforce continuing to embark on charity work into 2022 with regular fundraising planned throughout the year. Mike added: “We have been fortunate to celebrate our 200th business anniversary this year and are proud to make legal services accessible to the communities we serve. We hope this year’s Light Up a Life campaign continues to be a success, particularly following a difficult period for charities and the challenges they have faced over the last 12 months. We’re keen to look forward to the next 200 years and every day we’re working towards making a real difference in our line of work and in our local areas.” Carole Riley, Individual Giving Manager at Woodlands Hospice, said: “We are thrilled to have the support of the team at Bell Lamb & Joynson for our Light up a Life Appeal this year. Seeing the Christmas lights shine on the trees they provided, knowing each light is dedicated to a loved one has such a special meaning, and it is wonderful as a hospice to receive the recognition and support from a local business in our community.
“It is so important to us to have fundraising like this as this helps us to continue to be there for our patients and families throughout the year for as long as they need us.”
