Newly opened Newcastle craft beer taproom showcases local breweries
Thanks to a startup loan provided by Gateshead based Transmit, local entrepreneur Isaac Vernon has opened the Mosaic Tap bar in Forth Banks, central Newcastle.
Mosaic Tap is a “vibrant craft beer taproom” and bottle-shop selling high quality brews, pouring from ten taps as well as natural wines, takeout brews, pre-mixed cocktails, and small batch spirits.
The business intends to focus on local and specialist breweries, getting new kegs on a weekly basis to ensure a range of different beers are constantly in rotation.
Ensuring its offering is constantly varied means Mosaic gets to “showcase a selection of the best beers from the ever-growing UK craft beer scene”.
Isaac proclaimed: “My core intention is to educate people on how exciting beer can be in a super friendly environment where they can ask any questions & taste a big range of beers.
“My vision is to expand everyone’s knowledge into the array of great offerings available, including sour beer, organic cider, milk stouts, natural wine… the lot!”
