One Stop Hire Limited expands and agrees six-year lease with Towngate PLC
Power tool and industrial equipment specialist, One Stop Hire Limited has secured a six-year lease on Unit 1, New Princess Steet, Holbeck, Leeds — owned and managed by Brighouse-based commercial and industrial lettings specialist and landlord, Towngate PLC.
The property comprises a 11,372 sq ft industrial warehouse unit — with an eaves height of 6.5m —and boasts a large secure yard area, two electrically operated loading doors, and two-storey office accommodation. The unit occupies a prominent position adjacent to the M621 motorway — and close to Leeds city centre.
One Stop Hire Limited is the fastest growing provider of tool, access systems, mini plant, and non-mechanical plant hire in England, with 25 locations across the Northwest, Northeast, Midlands, and Yorkshire regions. The company also has a national training division and is already carrying out many construction based SHEQ courses from the Leeds depot.
The organisation’s move into the new premises — which is more than double the size of the previous Leeds hub — will help facilitate further growth for the business in West Yorkshire, and the ideal location, close to the motorway network will be key to the success of the branch.
Commenting on the move, One Stop Hire’s managing director, Steve Hitchen said: “The Towngate PLC team has been enormously helpful during our recent move. We are very excited to be operating from the new Leeds premises and look forward to continuing to grow as an organisation over the coming years.”
Tom Lamb, property manager of Towngate PLC added: “It is fantastic to welcome One Stop Hire Limited into one of our units at New Princess Street. The industrial park’s ideal location and nearby amenities speak for itself and we’re looking forward to our relationship continuing well into the future.”
Towngate PLC were represented by Dan Walker, of Gent Visick.
