London freelancer platform working with Google and Deliveroo reaches £500m milestone

London based freelance platform YunoJuno has seen 100 per cent growth in 2021 and has now passed the milestone of £500m in freelancer bookings.

Client wins such as Google, BBC, and Deliveroo have not only contributed to its growth but has also broadened the sectors YunoJuno now caters for in managing an organisation’s entire freelance workforce.

The implementation of IR35, the UK Government’s long awaited tax reform for self-employed individuals, combined with the effects and bounce-back of the economy post COVID-19 has led to more companies opting for solutions to strategically deploy a more agile workforce whilst still maintaining compliance and efficient payment processes.

YunoJuno’s all-inclusive suite of services enables companies of any size to find, manage, and pay vetted freelancers through a single platform. The £500m is a validation of the company’s vision to adapt to the “changing face of the labour market” and is on target to surpass 2021’s growth as it expands its operation globally.

YunoJuno’s CEO, Runar Reistrup said: As the great resignation gathers momentum among existing talent and studies show that 50 per cent of the future workforce about to enter the market prefer a flexible freelance career to a traditional career path, companies in all sectors are finding that an agile and digitally native freelance workforce will be a key factor of their future success.“

YunoJuno’s founder & executive chairman, Shib Mathew, added: “We are extremely proud of reaching this milestone. Our vision of connecting the world’s best freelance talent with the world’s most innovative companies in a direct, transparent and efficient way was validated from the moment we launched the platform.

“It’s great to see that validation continually gains steam as the world discovers the strategic advantage an agile workforce can have to any organisation.”
