Ben Wild Studios Announces Global Account Wins
Manchester-based young entrepreneur and animator, Ben Wild, is celebrating an impressive year having won a host of new clients.
After securing investment at the start of 2021, Ben Wild Studios has continued to go from strength to strength, winning a host of new clients including McLaren, New Balance, CBBC and the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)
With briefs ranging from animations, artwork for videos, social media graphics and storyboards for TV shows – the team have been able collaborate with their clients and grow their relationships from being project-based to retained accounts delivering a consistent level of creative output.
Chief Doodler, Ben Wild said: “The response we’ve had since launching Ben Wild Studios has been unbelievable. From starting as a Manchester-based animator we now have a global presence, animating for some of the biggest well-known household names including Amazon, PUMA and WWE.
“The most surreal moment of the year has to be when we were approached to provide animations for music legend Diana Ross’s latest music video. That was a serious pinch-me moment. Sadly I didn’t get to meet her but to hear that she loved my work was incredible.”
Ben, who is self-taught, left school at 15 to follow his dreams and has travelled the world to learn his craft. From working on a comic book, then landing a job with a film studio working as an on-site storyboard artist to working with Manchester City, McLaren and Ford, Ben has certainly captured a corner of the market.
To celebrate the team’s successes, Ben and investor Andrew Morgan have committed to help local charity HideOut Youth Zone both creatively and with hands on support its Brunt Wood People project.
Andrew commented: “I think supporting the next generation is really important. I was fortunate to discover Ben and his talent early on in his career and have been able to invest in his business and help support and mentor him. Ben and I felt really strongly that this was something we wanted to do on a wider basis and we’re proud to be able to help the HideOut Youth Zone and the incredible work that it does supporting kids from across Manchester.”
