Mobile Rocket’s local support on the lead up to Christmas
On the 10th December for Christmas Jumper Day, the Mobile Rocket team brought in donations for our local Newton Aycliffe Foodbank to help the community in the lead up to the holidays.
With the pandemic and many businesses being hit hard the past two years, Mobile Rocket wanted to give something back to the community, especially at this time of year when it can be tough for many North East families.
A total of 100 selection boxes were donated to St Clare’s Church in Newton Aycliffe along with urgently needed items listed on the County Durham Foodbank website by the Mobile Rocket team in the run up to Christmas.
Mobile Rocket Founder and CEO, Adam Lee said: “The pandemic has impacted many more families, who through no fault of their own struggle on the run up to Christmas. Now is as crucial as ever to help out anyway we can. So on Christmas Jumper Day we decided to bring in essentials and festive treats to donate to our local Foodbank at St. Clare’s Church in Newton Aycliffe”.
“We hope that our team’s effort provides families with what they need to make Christmas that bit better!”
